The Memorial Tournament interview room was busy today. Jack Nicklaus held court for more than an hour. His appearance was followed by media sessions with Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott.

Woods addressed a number of topics, including the upcoming US Open, his spat with Sergio Garcia and--of course--his quest to win for a sixth time at the Memorial.

Rory McIlroy failed to make the cut in his last trip to Muirfield, and he is still looking for his first PGA Tour win of 2013. However, he believes it would be wrong to count him out this week.

Finally, Adam Scott may be facing some increased expectations heading into the Memorial. After all, he is not all that far removed from his big win at the Masters. However, as much as he hopes to do great things this week, he may be even more hungry for a victory when he returns to Muirfield later this year.
