Back-To-Back Bob?

One of the big questions for the Blue Jackets this year is if goalie Sergei Bobrovsky can duplicate his efforts of a year ago.

Coach Todd Richards granted that it wouldn’t be easy for anyone to post those same numbers (21-11-6 record, 2.00 goals against average, .932 save percentage), but added if anyone can do it, it’s the hard-working Bobrovsky.

Richards then suggested that we go back and look up how many netminders have actually won the Vezina in back-to-back seasons…

Well, I guess I’m coachable, because here you go:

Martin Brodeur 2003, 2004 and 2008, 2009
Dominik Hasek 1994, 1995 and 1997, 1998, 1999
Patrick Roy 1989, 1990
Bernie Parent 1974, 1975
Jacques Plante 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960
Terry Sawchuk 1952, 1953
Bill Durnan 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947 and 1949, 1950
George Hainsworth 1927, 1928, 1929
