College football notebook: Offensive lineman chooses Arkansas over Ohio State
Dan Skipper, an offensive tackle prospect Ohio State was pursuing, committed to Arkansas.
Skipper, 6 feet 10 and 295 pounds from Arvada, Colo., had pledged to Tennessee before the Volunteers changed coaches. He made an official visit to Ohio State two weekends ago.
The OSU coaches, who a few weeks ago appeared to be intent on adding an offensive lineman to a 2013 class that has 22 committed members, are still interested in lineman Cameron Hunt of Corona, Calif. But recruiting analyst Bill Kurelic of Bucknuts said it is looking more likely that Hunt will go to California, where he had committed before Cal fired coach Jeff Tedford, or Oregon.
