Browns: Haslam to stay head of family company

CLEVELAND — Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said yesterday that he would remain the president of his family business, Pilot Flying J, amid a federal investigation into the company’s rebate program.

“Somebody asked me today if I would step down as president,” Haslam told reporters in a brief statement at Pilot Flying J’s headquarters in Knoxville, Tenn. “I thought to myself, ‘Why would I do that?’ Candidly, I haven’t done anything wrong.”
