Twins 4, Indians 2: Winning streak ends at six

CLEVELAND — The Indians figured to be in terrific shape against the Minnesota Twins yesterday afternoon at Progressive Field. They were a hot team with an even hotter offense going against an eminently hittable pitcher.

But a game still needed to be played. Once it was, the smart money did not seem very smart.

Right-hander Mike Pelfrey gave up one run and four hits in six innings, and the Twins defeated the Indians 4-2.
