Sweep in Chicago helps Cincinnati go 5-5 on trip

CHICAGO — Nothing like three days at Wrigley Field to get the Cincinnati Reds back on the correct path.

The Reds completed a three-game series sweep of the Chicago Cubs yesterday with a 7-4 victory. It’s the third straight time the Reds have swept the Cubs at Wrigley, adding up to a club-record nine straight wins in Chicago.

The sweep allowed the Reds to finish the 10-game trip with a 5-5 mark. Not bad, considering they started it 0-3.
