NBA: Bynum says Cavs are ‘playoff team’

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — On his first day as a Cavalier, center Andrew Bynum said all the things fans would want to hear during his introductory news conference yesterday.

He said he is feeling much better after surgery on March 19 on his knees, is ready to get to work and regain his All-Star form and plans on playing a full season, including training camp. He called questions about his work ethic nonsense.

He referred to Kyrie Irving’s talent as “world-renowned” and called his relationship with coach Mike Brown “great.”
