SAN DIEGO — The difference between the game that ended the Cincinnati Reds’ losing streak and the five games that constituted it?

Two two-out hits.

Chris Heisey’s RBI single, followed by Joey Votto’s two-run double in the seventh, were the difference in the Reds’ 4-1 victory over the San Diego Padres yesterday in the final game of a 10-day, 11-game West Coast trip.
