A look at the players who were suspended yesterday by Major League Baseball for their role the Biogenesis drug case:

SUSPENDED 211 GAMES:

3B Alex Rodriguez

NEW YORK YANKEES

• Salary lost : $30 million to $33 million (if suspension lasts the full 211 games)

Skinny: Rodriguez, 38, is fifth on the career home run list with 647.

SUSPENDED 50 GAMES:

LHP Antonio Bastardo

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES

• Salary lost : $382,514

• Skinny : Bastardo, 27, has pitched for five seasons with the Phillies in several roles.

SS Everth Cabrera

SAN DIEGO PADRES

• Salary lost : $348,361

• Skinny : Cabrera, 26, who leads the NL with 37 steals, was the Padres’ All-Star this season.

C Francisco Cervelli

NEW YORK YANKEES

• Salary lost : $140,806

• Skinny : Cervelli, 27, is on the disabled list since suffering a broken right hand on April 26.

OF Nelson Cruz

TEXAS RANGERS

• Salary lost : $2,732,240

• Skinny : Cruz, 33, a two-time All-Star, who leads Texas with 27 homers and 76 RBI but hadn’t previously been linked to performance-ending drugs.

RHP Fautino De Los Santos

SAN DIEGO PADRES

• Skinny : De Los Santos, 27, claimed off waivers from Oakland, is currently assigned to double-A San Antonio.

LHP Sergio Escalona

HOUSTON ASTROS

• Skinny : Escalona, 29, who missed the 2012 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, is assigned to double-A Corpus Christi.

OF Fernando Martinez

HOUSTON ASTROS

• Skinny : Martinez, 24, now in the Yankees organization at triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre, was with Houston at the time of the violation.

C/DH Jesus Montero

SEATTLE MARINERS

• Salary lost : $79,820

• Skinny : Montero, 23, did not win the job as full-time catcher and was demoted to triple-A Tacoma in May before injuring a knee and having surgery.

LHP Jordan Norberto

OAKLAND ATHLETICS

• Skinny : Norberto, 27, who was released on May 8 and is a free agent; was with Oakland at the time of the violation.

SS Jhonny Peralta

DETROIT TIGERS

• Salary lost : $1,639,344

• Skinny : Peralta, 31, batting .305 with 11 home runs and 54 RBI; made his second All-Star team this year. … Set to become a free agent after the season. … Played with the Indians from 2003 to ’10.

OF Cesar Puello

NEW YORK METS

• Salary lost : $21,831

• Skinny : Puello, 22, assigned to double-A Binghamton, has been in the Mets’ system since 2008 but has played in the major leagues.

2B Jordany Valdespin

NEW YORK METS

• Salary lost : $61,773

• Skinny : Valdespin, 25, who is at triple-A Las Vegas, batted .188 with four home runs and 16 RBI this season with the Mets.

Note: Escalona, Martinez and De Los Santos have minor-league contracts.
