Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is the Big Ten offensive player of the week, the conference announced this morning. Buckeyes running back Dontre Wilson is the league's freshman of the week.
Miller passed for three touchdowns and ran for two in a 63-14 victory over Penn State. He finished with 320 yards of total offense, completing 18 of 24 passes for a career-high 252 yards. He ran for 68 yards on 11 carries in less than three quarters.
Miller has been a part of 61 touchdowns in his OSU career, tied for third in school history.
Wilson had 96 all-purpose yards and a touchdown against the Nittany Lions. He had a career-long 49-yard kickoff return in the second quarter to set up a TD and caught a 26-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.
