Six Ohio State players are among the 335 players invited to the NFL combine this month in Indianapolis.
Juniors Ryan Shazier and Bradley Roby will be joined by seniors Carlos Hyde, Jack Mewhort, Corey “Philly” Brown and Corey Linsley. They will be among the players who will work out and interview with NFL teams from Feb. 19 to 24.
Offensive linemen Andrew Norwell and Marcus Hall and quarterback Kenny Guiton were not invited.
Shazier and Roby — both early entrants to the draft — and Hyde are expected to be the first Buckeyes drafted, though none is considered a lock for the first round.
Defensive back T.J. Carrie is the only Ohio University player invited to the combine.
