Ohio State men's basketball: Aaron Craft named player of the week in Big Ten

Ohio State's Aaron Craft is the men's basketball player of the week in the Big Ten, the conference announced this morning.

The senior averaged 12 points, five assists, 4.5 steals and three rebounds in victories over Iowa and Purdue. On the road against Iowa, Craft scored 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting and also had six steals. He was the first Big Ten player since Michigan State’s Charlie Bell in 2001 to have 17 points, six assists and six steals in a game.

 

Wisconsin's Nigel Hayes is the freshman of the week.
