Coach Urban Meyer will be on the field for the start of Ohio State’s 2014 spring practices today, a few days after a medical procedure to relieve pressure from a congential arachnoid cyst on his brain, a condition he has dealt with since at least 1998.

An OSU spokesman confirmed last night Meyer had fluid drained from the cyst at the OSU Wexner Medical Center over the weekend. Meyer had been experiencing occasional headaches the past few weeks because of the fluid buildup, the spokesman said.
