Red Wings 5, Clippers 4: Sacrifice fly delivers defeat

James Beresford’s sacrifice fly with one out in the ninth inning scored Pedro Florimon and the host Rochester Red Wings defeated the Clippers 5-4 last night.

Florimon led off the inning with a double and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt.

The Clippers scored twice in the second on an error and a groundout and again in the sixth on a sacrifice fly and a Carlos Moncrief double. Audy Ciriaco had two RBI for the Clippers. Starter T.J. House allowed four runs and seven hits in 52/3 innings.
