2013

Sprained knee early vs. San Diego State in Ohio State’s second game. Missed games against California and Florida A&M before returning.

Partially tore labrum in right shoulder in first possession vs. Clemson in Orange Bowl. Played the rest of the game. (Diagnosis wasn’t made until long after the game.) Had surgery in February, missed spring practice and has been limited in preseason camp.

2012

Briefly sidelined when his helmet hit an equipment case on the sideline vs. Michigan State. He missed the rest of that possession but returned. He later hyperextended his left knee in same game but was able to return.

Hurt neck vs. Purdue when cornerback Josh Johnson body-slammed him to the ground. Missed the rest of game and was taken by ambulance to hospital but was able to play the next week.

2011

Sprained ankle vs. Nebraska and missed rest of game, though he did play the rest of season.
