Ohio State men's basketball: Mickey Mitchell de-commits

Mickey Mitchell, a 6-foot-7 forward from Plano, Texas, who committed to Ohio State a year ago, rescinded that commitment last night via a post on his Twitter account.

His decision had been the subject of speculation for most of this year, since his older brother,Mike, decided to leave the Ohio State football team last winter during his freshman year.

Mickey Mitchell’s departure leaves three commitments in the 2015 recruiting class: point guard A.J. Harris of Dayton, shooting guard Austin Grandstaff of Rockwall, Texas, and center Daniel Giddens of Mableton, Ga.
