Francisco Lindor had four hits and scored three runs and James Ramsey drove in two runs last night to lead the Clippers to a 5-2 win over the host Louisville Bats.
The win came after a 2 1/2-hour rain delay.
Lindor led off the game with a single and later scored on a fielder’s choice. He singled and scored again in the third and once more in the eighth on a Ramsey double.
Toru Murata (3-3) pitched 52/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits for the win. He walked four.
Dylan Axelrod (8-9) took the loss despite throwing seven innings and striking out eight. He gave up two runs on four hits. Axelrod got out 11 consecutive batters.
The Clippers return home today for a three-game home stand against Indianapolis.
