A robbery on the East Side is the crime of the week in the Crime Stoppers program.

At 4:10 p.m. Aug. 31, two teens approached an elderly woman as she sat in her car near Noe-Bixby and Refugee roads.

One of the boys reached into her car and grabbed her purse from her lap.

Just before the robbery, the teens were recorded on surveillance tape at a nearby Donatos. That footage can be viewed at www.stopcrime.org.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000 for information received by Feb. 17 that leads to an arrest or indictment.
