The Beat: Ohio State shows championship mettle, toughness in impressive road win at Washington

Ohio State got the kind of test it was expecting on Saturday in its Big Ten opener and road debut at Washington. But the Buckeyes passed it with an utterly dominant defensive performance, continued leadership at quarterback from Julian Sayin and toughness on both sides of the football.
