Ron Stokes scored 1,240 career points and averaged 10.3 points per game before graduating in 1984. Stokes finished with 158 career steals (third all-time) and 419 career assists (sixth all-time).
In his junior year (1982-83), Stokes played in all 30 games, as the Buckeyes finished 20-10 overall, second in the Big Ten and lost to North Carolina 64-51 in a regional semifinal in the NCAA Tournament. The following season, Stokes’ senior year, he finished third on the team averaging 12 points per game and had a team-high 99 assists.
