Special Paid Programming

While you can hear all regular Fan programming when listening with your radio, what you can hear via Listen Live for free is limited. Some special programming is only available with a paid subscription or pass. Paid programming will have a special link to activate and will not be heard with the normal Listen Live link found on the web site. When special programming is airing on the radio, Listen Live listeners will hear alternate programming, probably ESPN Radio.
Please note when programming is shown as paid in the daily/weekly programming schedules. The programming schedule you see on the web site will ALWAYS reflect the programming schedule you hear if you were tuning into The Fan with your radio.

Special Non-Paid Programming

While you can hear all regular Fan programming when listening with your radio, what you can hear via Listen Live for free is limited. Due to various agreements with networks and affiliates, we are sometimes unable to stream the program on the web site. When special programming is airing on the radio, Listen Live listeners will hear alternate programming, probably ESPN Radio. Special non-paid programming is cannot be heard on The Fan web site in any way.

Technical Support

Requirements
All streaming audio offered on The Fan web site (either paid or free) requires Adobe Flash Player to listen. Fan streaming audio works best with the latest versions of Adobe Flash Player and your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari). Visit see the requirements above for free downloads and latest versions of the needed software and plug-ins.
At this time, we do not support or offer streaming audio for users on iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch). Our audio players rely on the Adobe Flash Player, which these devices do not support.
Podcast Feeds
While you can listen to any replay/podcast/interview using The Fan streaming audio player on the web site, you can also subscribe to most podcasts using the available podcast subscriptions (feeds). Such feeds are denoted throughout the web site by the orange feed icon.
Clicking this icon will take you to the feed web address. What appears on the screen will probably look like confusing computer code. The info on the page itself is not of use. What you need is the web address of that file, as shown in the browser’s address bar. Highlight and copy this web address, and then paste it into your preferred podcast reader/player (such as iTunes).

More Help

If you are experiencing difficulties using audio on The Fan web site and your issues are not addressed above, you can submit a report to the Internet Services department. We do our best to reply to visitor reports, but we cannot reply to everyone. Please know that your e-mails are received and read daily. Any technical problems are addressed as soon as possible.
